Outer Banks Part I

Hello all,

Well, we made it back in the nick of time - just before the tropical storm set in. The weather for us was perfect the whole week, the house was great, and no one was seriously burnt (although they were checking on me regularly!)

Here are a few pictures to get the idea - it was hard to pick and Pam has some great ones as well. (One or two of hers will surprise you!) Between sand castles, kites, umbrellas and beach chairs the week was very fun. Still finding sand in strange places, though.....Sharon

Courtney's New Home

Now that the new furniture has come in and some pictures are hung - Courtney feels comfortable officially declaring this HOME.

Here are a few pictures of the front and the downstairs - the upstairs is still a work in progress. IKEA has been a benefactor of this effort, and Swedish directions and "funky" wrenches aren't so bad after a bookshelf or two...The girls (Maddie & Molly) have adjusted well and love showing it off to visitors.

The bird feeder is hung outside, but Courtney is considering asking for a pellet gun as a house warming gift for the "darn starlings" (to quote Grandpa).

The Twins

Here is a picture of the girls that was recently taken. Hey, Aubrey, I think we need a picture of you pitching at one of your games.

Jon's Graduation

Jon is working at "settling" in to his house. He now has internet and Dish so I'm sure he is much happier. His washer and dryer are arriving later today, so I doubt that we will see him as often since he won't need internet access or washing privileges. His house still needs alot of work, but we're making progress.

Dr. Aaron

I have been working at getting caught up on downloading our pictures. Here are a couple of ones from Aaron's Whitecoat Ceremony which was held in April. It signaled the end of junior year and the beginning of his senior rotations. He is finishing up several rounds in Champaign and already has several interesting stories to tell. He will be headed out to Kansas for 3 weeks on June 15th.

Hunter's Song

We wanted to entertain (or torture) you with one of Hunter's favorite songs! Enjoy!
