Watching the Eagles

Ok everyone, this blog has been kind of dead this winter, so it's time to liven it back up! Catch us all up on your latest news.

For the past 2 years, Chris and I have gone to watch the eagles at the lock and dams that are near us on the Mississippi. Even though we have have lived here over 30 years, we had never done that until last winter. When the river freezes, the only place the birds can fish are right below the dams in the open water. So bald eagles from "who knows where" come here to winter. Of course, Jon will tell you that only old people watch birds, so I guess that says it all. Here are some pictures of the bald eagles. Halloween

Here are few pics of the boys in action for Halloween! Thanks to Grandpa Chris for the great hat! If you cannot tell, Rylan was a lion...he would not let me put his hood up. Oh well. The other kiddos are the Wascher boys, Levi and Hagan.
